Warrior Cider is the unique pure single apple variety cider produced in Shaanxi near to Xi’an, home of the terracotta warriors. The cider factory is a joint venture operation between AXT Group of Ireland and Luxiang Group of Shaanxi using European brewing technology to produce a fine clean drink with a distinctive flavor and free of the metallic aftertaste of western ciders.
The apple orchards are cared for in accordance with China’s Green Label standards – no pesticides or other chemicals are used ensuring purity of the product and flavor. Warrior Cider is launched this week into the Irish market and will be followed by staged expansion into the UK, China and mainland Europe. The Warrior cider is part of a range of apple based drinks from Warrior Cider Limited that will be entering the market in 2010 and 2011.
