Wild Atlantic Distillery is an Award-Winning Whiskey, Gin and Vodka Distillery based in Co Tyrone and draws its inspiration from Ireland’s stunning coastline and the Wild Atlantic Way. In 2018, Brian Ash and Jim Nash, brothers-in-law, and co-founders, started with a 25 litre still in the garden shed and began experimenting on producing their first product, Wild Atlantic Irish Gin.
In February 2020, we opened our distillery and in 2021, we won Gold at the World Gin Awards for Best Northern Irish contemporary gin and shortlisted for Best in the World with our Wild Atlantic Irish Gin. We also launched our Wild Atlantic Amalfi Lemon Irish Vodka, which won 2 Bronze at the IWSC in San Francisco in 2021.
In 2021, we were proudly one of the first to bring Irish Whiskey Production back to the Derry/ Strabane District in the North-West for the 1st time in 100 years.
